BIM for Precast Concrete

This project was funded by the Charles Pankow Foundation aqnd conducted jointly by FIATECH and the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS). It defined the functional requirements for a Building Information Modeling (BIM) standard for precast concrete, focusing on the multiple exchanges between the architect and the precast contractor. It also documented the process and workflows, and monitored the costs and benefits associated with the new data representation.
