FIATECH’s 2008 Annual Technology Conference & Showcase to be in New Orleans, March 31 – April 2

November 15, 2007, Austin, TX-- FIATECH’s Annual Technology Conference & Showcase, Where the Best Get Better, will be held at the historic Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans, Louisiana, March 31-April 2, 2008. The conference theme is Creating Sustainable Business Value the "Big Easy" Way: Deploying Innovative Technologies and James B. Porter, Jr., Chief Engineer and Vice President, Engineering and Operations at DuPont and Co-Chair of FIATECH’s Board of Directors will chair the event.

“Finding innovative ways to create sustainable business value is one of the key challenges facing our industry today. FIATECH’s conference will showcase available emerging technologies and case studies that demonstrate real business value in real world settings,” explains James Porter.

FIATECH’s Annual Technology Conference & Showcase is geared for leaders who want to implement and deploy currently available and cutting edge technologies to increase business value in their companies. The conference presentations will focus on new, emerging technologies solutions not currently in wide use in the capital projects industry but currently or imminently available.
