Committees
Marketing & Membership, Strategic Planning and Conference Committes are open to all FIATECH members. Finance and Board Nominating Committees are only available to the Board of Directors. If you would like to be on a committee, please contact Nicole Testa at testa@fiatech.org.

- Provide counsel/guidance to the FIATECH management in the development and administration of the budget
- Review the preparation process and source of data to develop an understanding of the basis for and content of the budget
- Review detail supporting analyses
- Identify areas requiring additional support and / or potential revision, and discuss with FIATECH management to reach consensus on budget and related financial management plan
- Track and evaluate FIATECH performance on budget and provide feedback to Board
of Directors
- Provide feedback/raise issues concerning FIATECH financials to the Board
of Directors
- Endorse the budget for Board approval
- Does NOT “Own” the Budget

- Provide leadership and guidance for marketing and not perform specific roles
- Contribute to the mission and vision of FIATECH as defined by the Board including advancing the Capital Projects Technology Road Map
- Contribute to increasing FIATECH Membership and thereby contribute to increasing FIATECH’s revenue
- Advance the branding of FIATECH consistent with the brand objectives established by the Board
- Establish a strategic vision, budget, and business objectives
- Work with collaborative orgnaizations and/or within committee members organization

Conference Planning Committee

- Identify revenue opportunities for Annual Technology Conference
- Identifies new exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, registrants, and prospective FIATECH members
- Identify new marketing ventures, through conventional advertisement and utilizing advertisements within FIATECH members publications.
Board Nominating Committee

- Identifies potential individuals to serve on the FIATECH Board of Directors
- Submits nominations to the Board of Directors and then vote is cast, by entire Board Panel
